Dealing with crisis: empowering yourself and others around you with dr. Gabriele sauberer

Interactive workshop host is 𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗿. She’s the director of the Vienna international positive psychology school (VIPPS). She is an expert in positive leadership and positive-provocative communication. Gabriele holds a phd in linguistics and communication science, and an mba in diversity and innovation management. She is an euppa certified master trainer in positive psychology and the head of certification of the European positive psychology academy.

Beyond the labels: inclusion of all is a value for all

Interactive webinar host is Adel Albaghdadi. He was born & raised in damascus –Syria. Adel went to law school to pursue his dream of becoming a diplomat or working for an international humanitarian organization and contributing to world peace building. After a long, risky, physically & emotionally tough journey, he arrived in 2015 to the Netherlands. Adel a tedx speaker and he calls himself a social changemaker; he consciously makes the daily decision to be a part of the solution and not the problem. He believes in a better future and he is determined to create it! That’s why he founded www.weorganization.nl. We organization is actively developing various projects in order to tackle xenophobia, build bonds and promote social inclusion.

Live story writing exercise for refugees

All of us have stories, ideas and creativity inside of us. All of us have a voice. Having a story is one thing. Unleashing it to the world is another. This exercise is about giving visibility to the creativity, perspectives, and lessons of this group, and your community. We are going to write and publish a book together, right here, right now. This interactive workshop is hosted by Hadi Althib. He’s a consultant program manager for middle east #mewesyria program, is a peacemaker and community leader who believes that psychological well-being is key to empower, engage, build sustainable relationships and promote peaceful coexistence. Now he is leading change in his community, raising awareness among teachers, parents and facilitators on mental health and psychosocial support in Turkey. Hadi began his work in psychosocial support in 2014 when the war in Syria resulted in waves of refugees- he leads peace education, nonviolent communication with families and young people. In 2016, Hadi began working with #mewe international inc. Doing outreach to hundreds of Syrian refugees in Turkey and Lebanon leading technical teams and training. In addition to his work with #meweintl, he is also pursuing his degree in psychology at the university of Essex and is a facilitator for Unesco international leadership workshops on global citizenship education.
