Elif Aksoy

LIFE Project Training Coordinator

Elif Aksoy graduated from Kadir Has University. She studied computer engineering in Faculty of Engineering and completed her master degree at University of Sussex, MSc Management and Entrepreneurship. Elif Aksoy was employed as business development specialist in different sectors such as chemistry, information technology, renewable energy . She developed 12 mw solar power plant projects in Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey when she was working her family’s renewable energy company. Currently, Elif Aksoy works as senior project expert in IDEMA which is a private enterprise founded by four social entrepreneur partners that develops projects for socio-economic development in various locations around the world since 2001. She is working as Training Manager in L.I.F.E project. L.I.F.E Project supports food entrepreneurship and promotes cross-cultural understanding between diverse communities living in Turkey. Through entrepreneur incubation program, members build food businesses and create sustainable livelihoods in Turkey. Her main duties and responsibilities in L.I.F.E project include establishing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, managing the relationship with the consortium members and all stakeholders, create and maintain comprehensive project documentation – quarterly reports , event-based reports, managing outreach activities both for entrepreneurship and workforce training, monitoring and evaluating training program’s effectiveness, success and reporting on them, resolving any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary, developing contents of additional resources that can be accessed by entrepreneurs for specialized information and attending conferences and trainings related with ongoing projects and prospective development areas.
