Layla is a graduate in Accountancy and Finance with a Master degree in International Relations. She is an activist and is involved in social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Ireland. She won 3rd place in Startup Weekend Dublin hackathon. She started organizing networking events in Dublin during the previous year and is organizing her first online event to help people on their mental health during this trying situation. She is involved in 3D printing of Covid-19 initiative with 2 friends in Tanzania in which signifies a united 3D makers community and Covid-19 hospital supply 3D printed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to healthcare in Tanzania. Her team also collaborates with other African countries and shares knowledge on 3D printing to fight this pandemic.
