Salam’s name means Peace in Arabic. Salam is a 27 years old Syrian engineering student and refugee in Sudan since 2016 Moving into a new home taught him more about himself, what he is capable of, and how good life is when you leave a positive impact where you are. Especially in a world where a word refugee is linked with a crisis, and related to weakness and people in need! Salam wants to change that perspective about the refugees, with his believe that refugees can make a big positive change in the new surrounding. “We are not a big number of problems, we can provide solutions to the host communities.”
