from Syria, a radio journalist and podcast producer who loves cooking. Mohammad is very interested in cooking with people from different backgrounds as he believes that the different ingredients that we use and the way we cook reflects a common human connection. Each one of us has a story with an ingredient or a specific meal that reminds us of memories we've lived and places we've been to. It enriches the memory in a very beautiful way. And this is what he loved in the komşu kafe collective, in Istanbul as he volunteered in this community. In komşu, they also believed that there shouldn't be a specific or fixed price for meals, as we might have different opinions about the meals and as all people should have the right to eat.
